Many novice web-masters ask themselves: what kind of templates should be used. Should they use the default templates suggested by the web service or should they search for some non-standard in the global net? Truth be told, you shouldn't even start thinking of it. Everything is much more easier. You just need to come up with the plan of website creation and stick to it. First of all, let's find out what a template is and what are its functions.
Template is just a cover of your website, which will help it to become more attractive. It is quite possible that due to the correctly chosen when the number of site hits will increase. But this is just in theory. In practice, by choosing your website's design you choose the template, that you liked most of all. Although, it doesn't mean that your visitors will have the same opinion. "Tastes differ”, you know. So you have to realize the fact that your template will not be loved and accepted by everyone.
Should you pay that much time on choosing the website design? In my opinion you shouldn't. The content of the project is much more essential. It goes without saying that the users-to-be will like your website only if they find it interesting for them. It is practically impossible to force someone visit empty website with nice-looking design. That is why, I recommend to choose any theme you liked from the default templates and proceed to the content management.
When you have enough visitors, you will conduct a poll about the need of changing the template. And only if the majority says it should be changed – go and change it (choose something special or order an individual). But before that, you shouldn't think of choosing design template too long. Believe me, the essence of the website, its ideas and content – that is valuable, and not the design.
